Loknete Rajarambapu Anant Patil, a visionary leader of Maharashtra founded Kasegaon Education Society in 1945 during the turbulent pre-independence era, when India stood on the threshold of freedom. At a time when the education sector faced significant socio-political and infrastructural challenges, Loknete Rajarambapu established the institution for students of Walwa tehsil to promote their holistic development by identifying their potential and providing quality education. With ‘सर्वही तपसा साध्यम ‘, (‘Everything is Achieved Through Perseverance’), as its inspiring motto, the institution continues to successfully contribute to nation building. It faithfully carries forth Late Loknete Rajarambapu’s vision of all-round development of students through knowledge, character-building, and national consciousness—an ideal inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s philosophy of education and now echoed in NEP 2020.
For the past 59 years, Arts, Commerce and Science College, Ashta has evolved into a full-fledged institution offering courses from KG to PG.
Secretary Message

Education is the foundation upon which all professions stand—it shapes minds that shape the nation. This principle aligns with the goals of later national education reforms. Kasegaon Education society is striving to carry forward this mission of the visionary social reformer, Late Loknete Rajarambapu Patil, who even during the pre-independence period was marked by limited access and educational disparities in rural areas. The aim of Kasegaon Education Society is to empower rural students through accessible, value-based, and skill-oriented education for self-reliance and social upliftment.
