Department of Commerce
We are very happy to welcome you on behalf of the Department of Commerce.
This department is one of the oldest department established under graduation in the year 1965 and post graduation in the year 1986, having glorious history. In this department, there are academic programs, Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) Degree as well as Master of Commerce (M.Com.) degree. The department runs career oriented Courses related with Commerce and Accountancy. Well experienced faculty members who have expertise in their respective fields, academic as well as in the field of research, increase standard of this department.
Various curricular as well as co-curricular activities are conducted in order to inculcate academic and social values for the holistic and sustainable development of the students. Various activities related with career guidance, research, Entrepreneurship, Skill development and personality development are also conducted by this department. Seminars and workshops are conducted to gain the latest knowledge in the field of commerce and management to face the challenges of 21st century. Department provides opportunities for students to gain practical knowledge, experience and develop leadership qualities among students. Placement cell is also run to provide career opportunities and develop entrepreneurship awareness.
